Local athletes have been competing in Jersey this weekend for the 24th annual Jersey Disability Games.
Today was the last day of the action at Fort Regent and included the wheelchair basketball final as one of the highlights.
This year Jersey did not host any visiting teams.
But chairman of the Jersey Sports Association for the Disabled (JSAD), Paul Patterson, said the local athletes made the weekend a success.
It has been a very successful weekend – not as many competitors as we’re used to seeing, because obviously there was no visiting teams, but all the local competitors had a really good weekend of sport.
